Tom joined GBF in June of 2016 to minister as Pastor-teacher after serving for 9 years as a Portland Police Officer. Tom is veteran of the US Navy, where he met his wife Tami, and has travelled throughout southeast Asia. After leaving the Navy 2004 he attended Multnomah Bible College (B.A.), Western Seminary (M.A.), and The Master’s Seminary (D.Min candidate). Tom’s emphasis in ministry is the inerrancy of Scripture, systematic theology, and verse by verse expository preaching. Tom and Tami have three school age children and have both served in various ministry roles.
Already a member of the GBF congregation, Ray joined the pastoral staff in 2009, serving in organization, management, and teaching ministries. Previously Ray spent 20+ years in Christian School Administration. He and his wife Ede have one daughter, who resides in Phoenix AZ. Ray likes to run six marathons each year.
Denise and her husband David began attending GBF in 1985. She joined the office administrative staff in 1998 serving primarily in the front office and also assists in the Children’s Ministry. They have a son and daughter who reside in Albany. Denise enjoys spending time with her family, enjoys various hobbies and is a big fan of baseball.
